Summer!

I got out of school two weeks ago for summer! It was both sad, but exciting! So now I am in the sun and having fun! (that rhymed) Not only am I dancing in the sun and drinking my cold iced tea while eating a popsicles I am also reading! You may say, "Reading oh that is a waste of summer!" When I say, "Reading that sound perfect in the sun!" So for school next year I have to read 20 hours over the summer. Which is a total of about 17 minutes a day! EASY!! I love reading so much, especially when your sitting in the sun!So I am going to give you some good summer reads that I am going to read or have already read.

One that I just read- Pictures of Hollis Wood by Patricia R. Giff.  It has been my favorite book of this summer that I have read so far.

Another I recently read- Chains (Seeds of America) by Laurie Halse Anderson.I didn't enjoy this one as much as the one above, but it still was a good read.
After you read Chains (Seeds of America) you can read the sequel to it Forge (Seeds of America) also by Laurie Halse Anderson (haven't read this yet but plan to.)

One that I read a year or so ago that I loved was The Teashop Girls by Laura Shaefer which would be a great book
After you finish The Teashop Girls you can then read Laura Shaefer's sequel, The Secret Ingredient which I am reading right now! I am enjoying it very much!

I hope that the books that I have recommended will help you decide what books to read this summer. Comment if you would like some more! I am so glad that it is finally summer. Please comment if you liked these books and if it is summer time where you live! Talk to next time.

Keep tuned and reading!
